Song_Nita_300x300Nita Song is the President and Chief Momentum Officer of IW Group, a full-service marketing communications company that specializes in the growing Asian American market in the U.S.   Agency capabilities include advertising, public relations, digital, social and experiential marketing.  With offices in Los Angeles, San Francisco and NY, the agency works with many of the country’s top marketers including McDonalds, Walmart, Coca-Cola, Lexus, HBO and Verizon Wireless.

Nita has over 25 years of experience in marketing and communications.  Nita joined IW Group in 1991 to lead Asian marketing strategy for the agency’s key clients.  In 1996, she made a move to the client-side to join AT&T, as the Director of Marketing and Community Affairs in the Pacific Region, with responsibilities for corporate affairs, community relations, marketing and promotions.   After AT&T, Nita joined Netsperanto, a start-up internet company, where she led the development and marketing of eight ethnic online communities as Vice President of Marketing.  She then returned to IW Group in 2000 to lead new business development and expand the agency’s advertising capabilities.  Under her leadership as president, IW Group has grown significantly and currently has over $45 million in annual billings and ranks as one of the top award-winning Asian marketing agencies in the U.S.

As a strong advocate for the Asian marketing industry and community, Nita currently serves on the Board of the Asian American Advertising Federation (3AF), an industry organization comprised of advertising agency principals, media, advertisers and strategic partners.  Additionally, Nita serves on the multicultural advisory council for Nielsen and Comcast.  She also serves on the board of the National Association of Women Business Owners, Los Angeles.

Nita is a graduate of the University of Southern California, and resides in California with her husband and two kids.
