Elizabeth Weil is a Partner at Andreessen Horowitz responsible for business development with the consumer portfolio, Fortune 500 brands, and advertising agencies. Prior to joining Andreessen Horowitz, Elizabeth was an early employee at Twitter. She joined Twitter in 2009 to start the Corporate Development team and grew the Product Marketing team as well. She was instrumental in the launch of Promoted products which is now the foundation for revenue generation at Twitter. Prior to Twitter, Elizabeth was a venture capitalist with Institutional Venture Partners and Menlo Ventures on Sand Hill Road. Prior to that she held marketing positions with Xfire (acquired by MTV/Viacom) and eBay drop-off company, AuctionDrop. Outside of work, Elizabeth is an ultramarathon runner, letterpress printer, and mom. She started and runs Paperwheel, a custom letterpress and design studio. Elizabeth has a Masters in Management Science and Engineering and a B.A. in Economics from Stanford University where she was a Mayfield Fellow and a Buck Scholar.
